Parent Library - Help Books
Sometimes, It’s not Easy Being a Parent…
We know - parenting is fun, rewarding, fulfilling and sometimes exhausting and just really hard work! We want our children to be happy, healthy and succeed too, but sometimes they encounter hurdles which knock their confidence, or they find difficult to cope with. Children do not come with manuals and everyone has to deal with challenging situations at times; we are sometimes not sure of the best way to support them. You are not alone!
As you know our Home School Support Worker, Sue Mills is available for a chat if you think need some advice/support. You can make an appointment to meet with her through the School Office. However, alongside this, we are delighted to be able to start promoting our Parent Library. We have a selection of easy to follow self-help books to appeals to all which may hold just the key to help you support your child deal with some big emotions/ challenges at times. These are available to borrow from school. You can request a copy through the School Office or pick one up at one of our events.
The books we have available currently are in the document below. However, if you have found a book useful and think we should add it to our library, please let us know. We have multiple copies of each title so why not read along with a friend and share ideas?
